Nairán Ramírez-Esparza

I was born in Mexico, and I lived there until I was in my mid-twenties. I came to the US in 2001 to pursue my doctoral social psychology studies at the University of Texas at Austin. I then finished my postdoctoral work at the Institute for Learning and Brain Sciences of the University of Washington in Seattle. I started instructing social psychology courses at the University of Connecticut in 2012. Currently, I am the department of psychological sciences' social area head and I am the director of the LAB-C-lab, where we continue to answer questions about how language and culture affect various aspects of life.
